meeting 1: expected/unexpected

Each of the two guides gathers a group of people and leads the group (without the group knowing about the other group) separately by foot on a different route to different ends of the same alley.  One group carries sunglasses and the other umbrellas.

meeting 2: chance

In a grid of streets marked on a map two participants start walking separately, without knowing each other route.  They walk until they meet or keep on walking for two hours.

meeting 3: line

Two participants walk backwards from a great distance toward one another.  If they bump they each return in the direction they are facing.  If they
pass one another they maintain eye contact as they continue walking backwards in the same direction.

meeting 4: exchange

Person A gets off the bus carrying a huge box.  Person B waits for the bus takes the box from A and gets on the bus that A got off.

meeting 5: traces

The two participants walk for two hours around a street block in opposite directions.  Every time they meet they leave a mark behind them.

meeting 6: stand-in

Both participants arrange a stand-in for their meeting.  The stand-ins meet for one hour at an agreed time and spot in the city.  Afterwards both stand-ins give a report to their instructors.

meeting 7: reflections

Person A sits at a cafe drinking coffee near a window.  Person B is given a description of person A and the name of the cafe where A will be. Person B stops outside the window where A seems to be and paints a picture of A on the window.  Then A leaves.
